We are ski boot fitters and not just ski boot sellers! The Ski Shop, Captains Cabin Sevenoaks have been fitting ski boots for 25 years and provide a full ski boot fitting service.

We continuously invest in staff training in order to provide the best fitting service to you. As well as continuous training, updates and refresher courses from all the leading brands, our ski boot fitters have been on many ski boot and ski tests and courses ranging from Whistler to Austria, even to the Snowdome. 4 of our boot fitters are Master Fit University trained and certificated. Master Fit University is a global training center in Kitzbuhel Austria for professional footwear fitters.

We have a vast array of equipment for ski boot fitting, eg from specialist machines for making custom moulded insoles / footbeds, heat ovens, heat machines, podoscopes, stretching equipment and much more. We have an onsite fully equipped ski servicing centre with full workshop facilities for most repairs and customisation.

Before you come to us for a ski boot fitting, a few helpful points to remember/consider regarding times.

1. No appointment needed as we work on a 1st come 1st served basis every day.

However we can offer (subject to availability) on Saturday mornings x3 appointments for 9am and x3 for Sunday 10am. After that its a case of waiting your turn.

Please allow yourself plenty of time of about 1 to 1.5 hours. Maybe less, maybe more but we do not rush.

We close at 5.30pm on weekdays and 4pm on Sundays (Sundays from November) so please come before 4.30 weekdays and 3pm Sundays

On-site we have a fully equipped Ski and Snowboard Servicing Workshop now upgraded with a new state-of-the-art Wintersteiger Omega SBI servicing machine. We are fully equipped for servicing skis, ski boots and snowboards. Professional and expert ski boot fitting available, Insta Print Custom Moulded Insoles, Superfeet Insoles, ski boot heat moulding and custom shell facilities on site.
Ski boot modifications and stretching also available.

Our Ski and Equipment Hire is very competitively priced and are guaranteed to have had significantly less time on the piste as those rented on resort..

We are ideally located, and very simple to get to being right on the Kent/Surrey/London border; a 30 minute train journey from London Charing Cross or Waterloo, we are 15 minutes walk from Sevenoaks Station or 5 minutes walk from Bat & Ball Station and a few miles from J5 M25 and J3 M20. If you take advantage of our fantastic Ski and Equipment Rental service then simply pick up your hire on the way to the Channel Tunnel or London Gatwick Airport which is only 40 minutes away.

Our friendly and professional team are all highly enthusiastic skiers and have almost 100 years combined experience on the slopes!
