Returns Policy

We understand that sometimes a product isn’t quite right. If you need to return an item, please read the following guidelines to ensure a smooth process.

Standard Returns – 14 Days

You have the right to return your goods within 14 days of receiving them, provided they are:

  • In resalable condition

  • Unused

  • Returned with all original labels, tags, and packaging

Once the return is received and checked, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Snow Boot Returns – Important Note

Please do not tape, write on, or return snow boots using only the original product box.
This makes the product unsellable, and may result in a reduced refund.
Always place the box inside outer packaging before sending it back.

Returns After 14 Days

Returns made after 14 days but within 30 days will be accepted for a store credit only, issued via reward points to your customer account.

Return Costs & Responsibility

Condition of Returned Items

  • Returned items must be clean and free of damage.

  • For used or faulty returns (e.g. ski jackets, pants), the item must be washed before returning due to health and hygiene regulations.
    We reserve the right to refuse or reduce refunds for soiled or unwashed garments.

Incorrect or Unsuitable Orders

While we will do our best to resolve any issues, it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • The correct item has been ordered

  • The product is suitable for your intended use

If items are returned that do not meet the above criteria, we reserve the right to charge for any loss or additional handling costs incurred.

The popular womens Vantage range of skis gives you the one ski quiver to go and ski all over the mountain, Whether you want to cruise effortlessly on piste or play and float in the powder. The Atomic Vantage skis are lighter amd stronger and perform well all over the mountain. Grips like a high-performance piste ski, but with a progressive look and feel designed specifically for women.
 
The Atomic Vantage 90 CTI W is a top women’s model in our Vantage ski series – progressive all-mountain skis built to be super light but still seriously strong. 
 
This combination means it grips like a high-performance piste ski, but has a progressive look and feel that’s perfect in powder.  To achieve it the ski features Carbon Tank Mesh, a layer of rigid woven mesh that adds strength across the ski while actually reducing weight. 
That’s on top of a Titanium Backbone 2.0 that ensures exceptional running stability, and a Light Woodcore. It features the iconic Vantage Firewall, an extra full sidewall for awesome power transmission and edge grip. The All Mountain Rocker delivers killer performance across the mountain, while the greater directional shape and less tail turn up takes the ski’s piste performance to the next level.

The Atomic Warden 11 is a solid option to go with any all-mountain ski. It has an Oversized Platform and U-Power Toe – a super-wide platform that provides extra lateral power transmission, steering, flex and dampening. This platform is also 30% wider than comparable bindings so works particularly well with progressive wider skis like Vantage.  It has a DIN range of 3.5 to 11. It also features a Low Profile Chassis, Progressive Transfer Pads and a special lightweight heel that keeps your ski nice and agile.

BASES
We use high-density sintered bases that are fast on any snow, can stand up to anything, and are easy to maintain.
 
EDGES
Our edges are made from steel five times more wear resistant than standard steel, for strength and perfect grip.
 
TOPSHEETS
Our top sheets are lightweight and highly resistant – with different structures and finishes to suit different terrains.
 
CORES
At the core of every ski are the materials – and particularly the different types of wood – that determine how it behaves.
Light wood core: Made from Poplar which is an ideal wood for powder skis, all mountain skis and freeride touring skisthat need to be strong, responsive but really light.
 
LAMINATES
Around the main core are the materials that fine-tune the performance of a ski.
TITANIUM BACKBONE
A titanium insert runs the length of the ski on top of the core like a stabilizing backbone – really dynamic and stable for all-mountain skis.
 
CARBON TANK MESH
In Vantage and Vantage X – a layer of super rigid, woven mesh that adds strength across the ski without adding weight.
 
SIDEWALLS
Sidewalls affect how the ski dampens impacts and transmits power. 
 
FIREWALL
Extra full under the binding with flex grooves for awesome power transmission and edge grip on hard pack.

If you would like your skis set up and waxed, please send an e-mail sales@theski-shop.co.uk after placing your order with the following information below.
Please include your name and order number. Otherwise, skis will be sent out and will require waxing and setting up at your own convenience.

Skis with bindings drilled on will be classed as used and non-returnable unless faulty.

Information & details required from you for ski setup:

  1. Skier's Age.
  2. Skiers Height.
  3. Skiers Weight.
  4. Boot brand/make & sole length in millimeters. Usually found embossed on side of heels. eg 315mm
  5. Skier classification: Please pick one: Type -1, Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 3+

Type -1
Skiers looking for a lower release setting than type 1. Recommended for beginners over 25 years old.

Type 1
Ski conservatively. Prefer slower speeds. Ski on easy to moderate slopes. Intermediate level, but not in good physical fitness. Good skiers, but with smooth supple style, but emphasizing safety. Favour lower than average release/retention settings – This corresponds to increased risk of inadvertent binding release in order to gain increased release capacity in a fall.

Type 2
Intermediate skiers in good physical condition. Prefer a variety of speeds. Ski on varied terrain, including most difficult trails. All skiers who do not meet all the descriptions of the other types.

Type 3
Ski aggressively. Normally ski at high speeds. Prefer moderate to steep terrain. Favour higher than average release/retention settings. This corresponds to decreased capability to release in a fall in order to decrease the risk of inadvertent binding release. (Type 3 should not be used by skiers of less than 22kg)

Type 3+
Very strong skiers, on challenging terrain. Skiers looking for higher release settings than type 3. N.B Skier type does not have the same meaning as skier ability. I.E, an advanced skier who skis all-terrain but is not particularly aggressive may be able to use type 2 settings.

Using the boot sole length you give, we set the binding to that length, but the final adjustments and checks can only be made with the actual boot. Heel and toe units on ALL boots have to conform to a certain size and shape. However, sometimes boots especially older models or well-worn ones, may vary in length compared to another stating the same measurements hence it is important that you do have them professionally double-checked. We recommend that you have your skis double-checked by your local or resort ski shop with your actual boot.
