As with any investment you will want your skis to perform as well and as long as they can. Regular servicing of your skis will ensure all-round safe, perfomance, fun skiing.

Edge sharpening will improve the carving turn and increase edge hold on hard or pack ice. Damage to the base of the skis should be repaired so as to prevent de-lamination due to water penetration, while base preparation and waxing will reduce friction and improve the glide making the whole skiing experience easier and more enjoyable.

We strongly recommend that on your ski trip you should wax your skis daily with a liquid wax.

Have your skis serviced once for every week you ski and that they are retired gracefully for the off-season with a summer wax.

Even if you don't have your own skis we suggest you take a portable wax with you on your vacation. Hire skis in resort see a lot of mileage and the use of an easy to carry liquid or rub-on wax will greatly improve their ski-ability and increase your sense of fun.
